EUR/USD - (1.1667) 07:00 CET - - EUR/USD support
still manifest above 1.1625, but the currency is not out of
the woods yet. With equity markets seemingly on a
meltdown, it is disconcerting that the single currency is
not getting much benefit from the equity market malaise.
Nvertheless, we still expect that the currency should
move up to 1.1800 - 1.1900 further out. We may get a
significant pullback thereafter, but the top of the upwards
series is probably located at near 1.2200 in the next few
weeks.
Hold long position (1.1410). keep stoploss at 1.1355 to 1.1610.
Trading objective: 1.1850.

EUR/USD - (1.1824) 07:58 CET - EUR/USD rose further on Friday,
going to as high as 1.1840, although it has lost some ground in Asia
today on slight profit-taking. It has laready met our minimum
1.1800 objective and still keeps the strong momentum behind it.
With 1.1800 being met, it really makes sense now to refocus of
upside objectives to the 1.2200 in matter of days -- not weeks.
Some significant resisatnce may come at circa 1.1900, but the
uptrend should quickly set up further 1.2200 upmove thereafter.
Hold long position (1.1650) Move stoploss from 1.1550 to 1.1735. Trading
objective: 1.2200.

EUR/USD - (1.1847) 06:57 CET - - EUR/USD was
relentless, and has been to 1.1900, and may be in for some
firmer resistance, and we may be in for a decline back to
1.1840 - 1.1820 during the week. But this should restore
the equilibrium in the current uptrend, and should not be
taken as a negative against the unit. With 1.1800 now
serving as support, it really makes sense now to refocus
upside objectives to 1.2200 in the next few days.
Hold long position (1.1650) Move stoploss from 1.1735 to 1.1810.
Trading objective: 1.2200.

EUR/USD - (1.1843) 08:02 CET - EUR/USD made a new high at 1.1929 but
large equity market gains in New York session hammered the currency back to
as low as 1.1813. The currency has since then recovered somewhat but until it
goes above 1.1850 today, we will make allowances for another downmove to
1.1800 - 1.1780. A final downtick may not be necessary, as the currency has
already met the requirements of a pullback needed to restore equilibrium in
the uptrend. The 1.1800 area now provides a base. The rally should get going
again and we continue to focus at 1.2125 - 1.2200 as next objectives in the
coming days.
Hold long position (1.1650) Move stoploss from 1.1810 to 1.1750. Trading objective:
1.2130.

EUR/USD - (1.1763) 07:20 CET - - EUR/USD recovery from the
1.1710 trough has been anaemic so far and neither looks nor set for
flight. We think it is a consolidation phase and may be followed by
further declines. In view of the positive very short-term equity view, it
might be prudent to allow still for further decline to the area of 1.1600 -
1.1550. The corrective decline has been larger than we have expected
(view was for a pullback to 1.1780 max), but hopefully the bleeding will
be stanched at 1.1600 - 1.1550 or even above those level. We do not
expect this corrective decline to kill the uptrend and the major rally
should get going again therefater. The upside focus remains at 1.2125 -
1.2200 as next objectives in the coming days.
Long position (1.1650) was taken out at 1.1750 profit-stop. Stand by.

EUR/USD - (1.1869) 07:50 CET - EUR/USD recovery from
the 1.1700 trough broke through the 1.1810 swing level with
authority, and there was no turning back until it hit a 1.1920
high, proving our bearish short-term scenario wrong. The
correective ddcline in the past two days indeed did not kill the
uptrend, and a new series should get going again soon. The
rally might cool off some and could retrace gains back to
1.1820 - 1.1800 again -- a +test of the low+. If the currency
survives this test, then a break of 1.1930 top should come
quickly. The upside focus remains at 1.2125 - 1.2200 as next
objectives in the coming days.

Buy at 1.1840. Initial stoploss: 1.1725. Trading objective: 1.2150
